It is understood that employees, Clergy, volunteers, congregants, parents and minor children affiliated with or attending Old Union Church Vacation Bible School (hereinafter “Church”) regularly photograph congregants, participants and visitors of Church-sponsored activities. These photos are often shared amongst congregants, parents and visitors and may ultimately be used on bulletin boards, promotional materials, websites or Church-sponsored social media pages.
A parent or guardian of any minor child participating in Church-sponsored activities has the right to opt out of having their child’s photos/videos taken, retained, and used by the Church for any purpose. The exercise of this “opt out” cannot be used as grounds for refusing entry or participation in a Church-sponsored activity.
As the parent/caregiver of your child, I allow the following:
For the Church to take videos and photographs to use on the Church’s website and social media pages, newspaper articles, Church promotional materials, use on club notice/bulletin boards, livestream publish the activities in which the Child participates.
